All the products are made by hand of Japanese craftsman. Brand name comes from “Katano city” where head quarter is located. We have developed Katano kaban brand to overseas market in recent years with the pride of Made in Japan and with the theme of “ To the world from Katano city” We have worked in research and development of original products such as our patented product “Circle bag” and “Osushi” which we got first prize in lady’s professional bag division of Japan Leather award 2012. Our product designers and craftsmen work hard for pursuing our mission which is to make products for a lifetime and continue domestic manufacturing in Japan.

コーデュラファブリック。コーデュラとは、ナイロンの7倍もの強度を誇る耐久性に優れる繊維で、アメリカのデュポン社が開発後、今では「インビスタ社」の登録商標となっております。開発されたのは1967年。それ以来、米軍ミリタリー向けに、強靭なウェア、ブーツ、バッグなどに生地提供されております。高機能の衣服、用具、ワークウェアに使われる「丈夫な素材」。現在ではさらに耐久性が必要とされる衣服や用具から日常着にいたるまで様々な製品に使用されております。

なお、コーデュラナイロンは撥水効果がありますが、完全防水ではありません。

また炎天下では変色もしやすいので、その点には注意が必要です。

汚れを落とすために洗濯機に入れてしまうと、撥水性のあるコーティングが剥がれてしまうことがデメリットと言えますので、お手入れにはご注意ください。
